You can make a hummingbird feeder out of practically anything. A small jar like a baby food jar is a good possibility; paint the edge with bright red nail polish, fill it with sugar-water (one part sugar to four parts water, boiled and then cooled), and the hummingbirds will generally find in it no time.

Hummingbirds are attracted to the color red. As long as you have a container that they can put their beaks into, and have it up away from predators, they’ll visit. I once went camping and had a bag of water that had a red valve on it, and the hummingbirds tried valiantly to drink from THAT.

It may take a few days to find the containers initially, but once they do, you’ll have a friend. Be sure to change the nectar very regularly, and wash the containers very thoroughly, so that mold doesn’t build up that can harm the birds. A dishwasher is the best way to clean them, but you can use a rinse of chlorine bleach to disinfect them as well.

Enjoy your tiny friends :-)
