How should I fill my hummingbird feeder?
I received a hummingbird feeder as a gift. It is a beautiful globe of glass with an opening into which the J-shaped feeding spout is inserted. You are supposed to fill it up with fluid/nectar and then turn it upside down so that the fluid flows into the spout and the birds can then feed from the mouth of the spout. The problem is, due to air pressure the fluid seems to stay inside the globe and not to reach a point where the birdies can reach it. Is there a special technique to this?
Don’t worry the hummingbirds will be able to reach it. That is how those feeders are designed.

I’ve just seen them hover in front

im pretty sure that ur ok cuz hummingbirds have very thin beaks and they can fit it in very small holes that dont leak. hummingbirds also can stay in place while flying so they can drink. I might miss think the structure of the feeder so im not 100% sure
